MO Gamma

Phi Delta Epsilon, or PhiDE, is WashU’s only medical fraternity, dedicated to supporting students pursuing future careers in medicine. Guided by our values of Philanthropy, Deity, Education, and Equity, we create a community where pre-med students can grow academically, professionally, and personally.

Our History & Members

Our chapter has grown into a strong “PHamily,” beginning with 54 founding members and continuing through multiple new member classes, including Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Zeta, and the incoming Eta class. Each class adds new energy, leadership, and commitment to our mission of service, education, and medical preparation.

What We Do

PhiDE hosts a wide range of events that help members build skills, serve the community, and connect with others on the pre-med path. Our activities include:

• Philanthropy events supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, such as Stand for the Kids and Pie with Phi

• Educational events like Stop the Bleed training, suture clinics, MD-PhD panels, Kaplan talks, and medical student talks

• Social and mentorship opportunities that help members form lasting friendships and receive guidance throughout their pre-med journey

Through these experiences, PhiDE helps members become more prepared, connected, and confident as future healthcare professionals.
